Directions to Seldom Scene Farm

For Open Houses or by Appointment Only

From Lexington:  Take US 60/Versailles Rd. around Versailles and head North toward Frankfort.  After about 3-5 miles, prepare to turn left on Steele Rd (Rt. 1685).  After about ½ mile, stay right at the fork and continue to Rt. 1659.  Go a few miles, pass Woodford Reserve, and continue exactly one more mile.  Turn left onto Watts Ferry Rd. (1964 at this point). Keep going to Watts Ferry- 1964 will turn off but you’ll continue straight.  It’ll curve around, then there’ll be a 5-way intersection.  Go straight through the intersection, staying on Watts Ferry (No Outlet Sign).  Continue up steep hill, past a few small farms.  Eventually you’ll see alpacas on both sides of the road (extended part of our farm), continue on down the hill- Watts Ferry dead ends at the official beginning of our driveway.  Continue on down the hill- our driveway starts at the end of the road.  Continue straight through the gate.  The manager’s cabin and barn will be right there- if you see a vehicle, stop.  Otherwise continue on down the hill to our house and studio.  Watch for parking instructions during the Open House!
